Minocin is used to treat certain infections.It is a tetracycline antibiotic. It works by slowing the growth of certain bacteria and allowing the body's immune system to kill them. If you miss a dose of Minocin, take it as soon as possible. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular dosing schedule. Do not take 2 doses at once.Overdose
